Oracle Announces San Fransisco Music Festival

Today, Oracle announced their very first music festival which will take place in San Fransisco California. Even though this is the first time Oracle has hosted a music festival, the line up of events and artists looks promising to say the least. When and Where Is It?

The Oracle music festival will take place from September 30th to October 4th at various outdoor clubs and venues throughout San Fransisco, California. Some of the venue locations already announced include Union Square, Yerba Buena Gardens, Mezzanine, Ruby Skye and Slim’s to name a few. As of now, the time set for the event is between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m. However, if you plan on attending the Oracle music festival, keep your ears and eyes out for changes in the venues, as there will likely be others added before the event takes place.

Performing Artists

In keeping with the tradition of big-name music festivals, Oracle is certain to not disappoint with their artist lineup. While more artists are expected to be added, a partial list has been released. On September 30th, R&B superstar Macy Gray kicks off the music festival at Yerba Buena Gardens. Some other notable artists released on the list include Joss Stone, The English Beat, The 500s, American Steel, Blues Mix, Dirty Ghosts, The Dodos, Red Meat, Young Prisms, DJ Don Lynch, DJ Josh One, DJ Mei Lwun, DJ Panic City and DJ Zaq. If you’re a registered attendee of Oracle OpenWorld, JavaOne, MySQL or any other Oracle sponsored event, you’ll be given priority at the music festival. Those who aren’t registered attendees of any Oracle event will be allowed in on a first come, first serve basis.
